As many of you probably know, my family means the world to me. They are some of my best friends and I am extremely lucky to have them in my life. I want to share with you what’s going on with my sister in law Keren, in hopes that you will keep her, my brother scott and their boys, Jack and Van in your prayers.

Last fall, visiting Keren, Scott, Jack (the cutie patootie on top) and Van (the sweet little boy in Scott’s lap) outside their home in Columbus, Oh <3

This past December Keren was taken to the hospital because her heart starting pumping rapidly and irregularly.  Since then, she’s been diagnosed with Arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia (ARVD)- scar tissue marbling the right ventricle of her heart- and will need an ICD (an implanted defibrillator).  The latest from the doctor is that she’s not able to have any more children or do any sort of cardio exercise again, but Praise God she should expect to live a long life with her amazing hubby and kiddo’s and of course all of the other people that love her oh so much <3

Keren’s mom sent this to her and I love it..so here ya go…

In times of trouble, God’s trusting child may say:

First: He brought me here; it is by His will I am in this strait place; in that will I rest.

Next: He will keep me here in His love, and give me grace in this trial to behave as His child.

Then: He will make the trial a blessing, teaching me the lessons He intends me to learn, and working in me the grace He means to bestow.

Last: In His good time He can bring me out again — how and when, He knows.

I have no doubt that the Lord is watching over Keren and will continue to keep her under His wing. I have no doubt that He can restore her body and regulate her heart. I trust Him.

Please keep Keren, Scott, Jack and Van in your prayers as they continue putting their trust in the Lord. Thank you so much <3
