I didn’t know what to expect going into camp.

(Who ever said we live in a man’s world was wrong! ๐Ÿ˜‰
I didn’t expect to absolutely fall in love with the group of kids that I worked with.

I didn’t expect to see such a dramatic difference in the atmosphere at camp after only a couple of days.

I didn’t expect to have a rollover accident in a go cart.

Nathan went down this hill and I thought it looked fun, so he said he’d give me a push…

I turned the wheel so I wouldn’t hit Matt..apparently I turned to hard…

no worries, i was laughing to hard to notice the pain ๐Ÿ™‚
I didn’t expect to be cutting out shapes with my awesome 5 year old friend
for her very first talent show ๐Ÿ™‚

She cut those shapes out like a pro!

Throughout the week, God showed up in new ways.
He worked through us to show others who He is.
Lives were changed.
But camp isn’t where it ends.
We may have taken some time off to recoop after camp ended
but God kept moving.

We’ve seen most of the families at church the past two weeks which has been SO good.  Families that haven’t gone to church before, or it’s been years since they’ve attended.  People that work along with some of the parents have said that they can see a noticable change in them.  God is SO good. He chases after His children.  He never stops pursuing them.  I am so excited to keep in touch with them and to hear how God is moving in their lives.

Please keep these families in your prayers.  I am blessed to have had the opportunity to spend so much time with them.  They are a truly amazing group of people that are desiring a closer relationship with their Lord and Savior. They’re ready for more of Him.

This is only the beginning…
