This is the end.
This is the beginning.
Strange.
We are coming to the end of our time in Rwanda, our time in Africa and our time with our current teams.
I cannot believe we are already finishing out month three of the Race.
Our time in Rwanda has been stretching physically, emotionally and spiritually.
We spent this month preaching door-to-door, street-to-street, shop-to-shop, spreading the word of God, proclaiming Jesus Christ to whoever would listen. It was amazing. We were met with so many questions, so much doubt, but a willingness to listen and a desire to go deeper and learn more. God has done incredible things while we've been here. I can sense a longing in this place, for more, for healing, for God. He is doing a great work in Rwanda. It's a beautiful thing to be apart of, even if it's trying in some ways.
We also had the opportunity to preach every night in the evening service at Faith Center Church. I don't think any of us thought we would ever preach this much in our whole entire lives!!
The Holy Spirit has been leading us in boldness and giving us all words straight from the heart of God to preach to His people here in Rwanda.
These past three months, I have been blessed to be apart of the best team ever. Scott Cangemi, Sabrina Utz, Drew Phelps, Sarah Ball, Emily Chan, and Kayla House = Team BLAZE.
These six individuals have made me laugh, cry, challenged me, seen me at my worst, encouraged me, lifted me up to the Father….I seriously cannot tell you how much I love these people. God is so evident in each of them in such unique ways. I am so thankful for the time we have spent growing, learning, and seeking the Lord together. After this week, we will be undergoing team changes.
I'm not sure if the changes will be big or small, however, the change is inevitable. It's coming.
But, that's life, right?
How can we learn and grow if everything stays the same?
So, I am excited to see what God is going to do.
God has done so much in and through each person on this team in these three short months.
And I know His work is not finished.
He has a perfectly orchestrated plan for each person on my team and on the squad.
And if that means He needs to change a team dynamic, call someone up to be a leader, I say, "Let's do this, Lord!!! Take us deeper! Stretch us farther!"
I know the relationships that have been formed on my team will not only remain, but go deeper and grow stronger as we continue to build each other up, call each other out, and love on each other these next eight months.
So, we are ending our time in Rwanda, in Africa and with our current teams the way they look now.
However, we are beginning something new.
God has great things in mind.
And I am excited to find out what He's thinking.
Thank you for your continued prayers and suppport. Because of all of you, I am past the fully-funded mark of $14,800!! THANK YOU! God is good and you are all amazing! Love you all so much!
