An impossible prayer is almost like Jumbo Shrimp. Stay with me.. Its a phrase that goes together, but don’t belong together. Its an oxymoron. We talk about having jumbo shrimp, but the shrimp is not actually jumbo. And we talk about something being an impossible prayer, but with God, nothing is impossible.

What would you say if I told you I wanted to go on a free safari? Would you tell me its impossible? It does sound pretty ridiculous, even to me.

4 months ago, while we were in Asia, my team decided to make an impossible prayer list. A list full of dreams and prayer requests, small and large, that simply seemed impossible – that seemed completely out of reach. Things that were definitely out of reach if we were left in charge of them. And one of the items on our list was a free safari. Impossible, right?

Wrong. We arrived to Middelburg, South Africa 2 weeks ago. It was the beginning of our last month on The World Race. And I was filled with amazement when I was told we were being blessed by a member of the congregation with a free safari at Kruger National Park. All 14 of us. It cost something like 270 Rand (a little more than 20USD) per person for entrance into this park – the largest national wildlife park in South Africa. And we were being taken – for free.

Not only did He take us to Kruger National Park, for free, but we saw the Big 5. The Big 5 are the most dangerous animals once they have been wounded. They include the buffalo, elephant, rhino, lion and leopard. There are some people who have been to Kruger multiple times, and have never seen some of them. And we saw every, single, one.

Even with this being on our impossible prayer list, all I truly dreamed of was to see an elephant, or zebra on the side of the road. Anything, really. I would have called any animal we passed an answer to our prayer. But the thing with God is, that He doesn’t just work inside the confines of a box. He sees what we ask, and then He shows us what He can do. And nothing is too big for Our God. Nothing.

**Financial Update** HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported, donated, spoken words of encouragement these past 11 months. I’m excited to announce that I am FULLY FUNDED! This has been the most impactful year of my life, and I am sad to see it come to an end, but excited for what The Lord holds for my future. Its incredible to me that I will be coming back to the states in less than two weeks.
