I am currently sitting at the airport waiting to board the plane that will fly me to Atlanta, Georgia!
In less than 24 hours I will be meeting the incredible individuals on my team; I will be venturing into a place where I know no one! Haha (this tends to be a theme in my life)
I have not been told much of what will be happening over the next 10 days, so into the unknown I am venturing!
I am thankful last night I got to spend some time with Papa in worship and he told me some amazing things.
He made known to me some amazing character qualities that I possess.
You know in summer time, when it’s a scorching hot day & swimming in the pool is glorious to the body? Well, some people jump in, some people gradually ease into the water.
I am a jump-in kind of girl!
No easing in over here!
> This will be my first genuine, camping experience.
> I have never slept in a tent more than three nights in a row.
> I have never backpacked or been out hiking more than a day trip.
I guess that’s really the biggest thought in my mind.
Jesus showed me though he will do what he wants if I will come with an open heart & mind for him to do what he does best.
I am ready for him to wreck me & encounter me in a unique way.
I will not be at my school with my kiddos these coming days.
I will be out of my routine.
I will be away from my normal.
I will be around people I do not yet know.
I am expecting much from him in this venture. I want to be open wide to him.
He spoke some massive statements to my heart last night & I want that to grow & increase.
So, here’s to an amazing adventure! I know very little of what to expect, but I know when I expect from him & am open wide- he can be Papa & I can be his daughter.
