From a land far far away, I greet you with happy news:
I AM FULLY FUNDED!!
Thank you Papa for faithfully providing, thank YOU for every donation, prayer, encouragement, and word of cheer. 🙂
I would not be here without you.
Where is here?
Answer: Nepal!
Never would I have thought I would end up here. It’s mountainous, beautiful and in the wild, all requirements of what I dream about. Yet it’s a place so far removed from my normal, I assumed this place would remain on the bucket list. It’s funny how Papa is humoring me in this way.
HA! You’re pretty funny Dad.
Update these days
>India was challenging. We were in three different [very different] places during month 3.
// First Papa used our team to bring physical healing in numbers I can’t keep track of while we were in Kolkata for a week.
// Papa also connected us to an incredible family who founded Lord Jesus Ministry and we got to visit one of their orphanages north of the city. My heart found another home there with the kids (who are a family themselves, loving and taking care of each other).
// We then traveled to a rural mountainous region in the east state of Manipur & joined an established ministry at a bible college, joined in a medical camp, led a vbs, and sanded in a hospital.
// Traveled again to Varanasi [the holiest city for Hindus] for one week.
This past month was filled with challenge to be vulnerable [as always]. I saw what was really in my thoughts and heart with no internet for 2 weeks [that may be a couple blogs in itself]; transitioning several times in a short period of time.
I’ve been thinking about and missing home a lot these past weeks.
Papa is talking to me about my heart and has been asking repeatedly, “Do you trust me?” I won’t get into detail, but the desire for marriage is prevalent more than ever [so it seems] and Papa is reassuring me: I’ve got you baby girl. I love you. Trust me.
His love! I want to awake in it, with fresh eyes and a heart of flesh every morning.
He’s definitely showing me how to be loving, how to be kind, how to put myself last. He’s faithful to show me what is in my heart and where I can grow.
This road, this journey…boy is he faithful to bring the opportunity for maturity.

side note:: some of my squadmates had the opportunity to go back to India for the next couple weeks. They are in Hyderabad & Kolkata. Keep us in your prayers as we are in India AND Nepal this month. 🙂

fun side note: I am at the highest elevation I have ever been! I believe we are at 7000 ft!
