You begin to see people differently when future plans are dependent on their financial giving.
I am totally and completely in awe of the stirring the Lord has done in the hearts of my friends and family members who have willingly given their hard-earned money to send me to the countries I will be in. Some people have much to give, and some have little to give yet -all- acted out in obedience to be the body of Christ and labor with me as I embark on this journey the Lord has set before me.
And so, today – I celebrate the blessings given to me by the Lord. He has given: life, family, friends, health, the fruits of His spirits, His Kingdom, and most importantly the gift of being with Him for eternity and worshiping at His throne along with my family, friends, and those strangers-turned-family who will hear the goodness of His name and open their eyes to the goodness of His grace and salvation.
I urge you to take time today and consider the blessings the Lord has graciously poured out upon you. Then respond with prayers, songs, and scriptures of thanksgiving!
When we consider everything the Lord has graciously given us – things that we don’t deserve – we truly have no option BUT to react in praise.
If you are struggling to find blessings: start with your breath. start with your sight. start with your ability to read these words. I promise, they only multiply from there.
