Now this is the story all about how my plans got flip turned upside down.
I’d like to take a post so just sit right there and I’ll tell about how I’ve become a leader for gap year.
In west California I was born and raised
Serving Jesus is how I spend all of my day
Chillin out maxin’ relaxin’ all cool
Sharing that gospel after high school
Went a couple of month wanting to do good so I realized I gotta leave my neighborhood
I went on 1 nine month trip and my Dad was there
He said, you’re going back on the field to lead gap year
I begged and pleaded with Him day after day
But he said to pack my stuff and He’ll send me the way
I’M GOING BACK TO GUATEMALA!!!
Yup! That’s right!! I’m going back on the World Race but this time as a team leader!!! I will be leaving August 30th for three months and will be fundraising about $3,000! (1/5th of what I had to fundraiser last time!) so please pray for me and if you want to support me you can through Venmo, cash, or here on my blog!! How did this happen you may ask? Well, a few months ago my friend Makennah has spoken to me about how she was leading a trip over the summer through Adventures in Missions and I felt something spark in my heart longing to do something like that, then I put that thought in a box and never considered it again. Well, about a month later I was getting crazy anxiety and in a trip up to the mountains I confessed to my friends about the anxiety I was getting and how I thought I needed deliverance. Before my amazing friends decided to pray for me they told me I needed to ask the Lord what I am not trusting Him in. So, I took a moment to ask the Lord and I was reminded of Makennah leading a trip and how I wanted to do that. Ever since I just so much have listened to the Lord I have not had any anxiety!! AMEN. I decided I needed to contact some friends at Adventures and see if I could apply. I applied to team lead Gap Year and here I am! Ready for training camp in a couple weeks and then off on the field again August 30th!! Please pray for me as I am fundraising and for the team I will be leading! I am so excited for the gap nuggets I get to encourage and build up!
