I am honestly so humbled by your love, support, prayers, donations, encouragement — just absolutely every. single. thing. Words will never be able to adequately describe how grateful I truly am for your support. I am blown away and I stand in awe of what the Lord is actually doing in my life.
There are days, I honestly cannot even believe it. I get emotional as I type out this blog post. Y’all just don’t even understand. When I started this journey, I knew it would be a challenge but I also thought fundraising wouldn’t be as intimidating as it truly is. There is something quite daunting about asking people for help. However, I have learned that most people genuinely want to help, but life…funds are tight, the timing isn’t quite right, there are other obligations…etc. I get it. Trust me, I do. I also understand that God is in everything. He puts the desire in other’s hearts to help. He makes a way where I do not see one. He provides over and over and over and over again. He shows me daily that He is in this with me.
Today, I received an email notification of a $400 donation! FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS y’all! It is the biggest donation I have received so far, but I know that God is not done yet. I am quickly approaching a deadline that I have to meet in order to participate in the World Race and as I get nervous in my flesh, my spirit says “do not be anxious”. Then shortly after I received another notification that another $84 dollars were coming my way! PRAISE JESUS!
My God is such a big God. He doesn’t need time to get it together. He is a last minute kind of God. He is a God of miracles and He works down to the wire.
Right now, I am overwhelmed with the love of the Lord and overjoyed. I couldn’t help but shed tears when I saw this notification. & even now, as I type out this blog post, my heart is just happy. I cry tears of pure joy!
The person who donated the $400 is such a sweet friend of mine from childhood. She is a single mother, she is a teacher, she is lover and follower of Jesus Christ…literally a Wonder Woman! Her testimony is amazing and I am just so honored that she has the desire and the heart to serve the Lord. My other friend that donated is also a single mother. Both of these ladies are so near and dear to my heart. I am just blown away at their hearts and how they are in the midst of their own struggles but still made it a point to support me. It touched my heart so much and blessed my life in a major way. This is something that I will never be able to repay them, but I hope they know, especially if they are reading this, how truly beautiful and inspiring they are and how much I absolutely love them so, so much! I believe in your miracles girlfriends!
I am so excited for what the Lord is going to do next!
