This blog post is dedicated to each and every single person that has encouraged me, supported me, prayed for me, and made any financial contribution toward my first $5K fundraising goal! Many, many thanks! You are making this trip possible for me. I still have a ways to go to be fully funded but I am trusting in the Lord to provide for me, as He has thus far.
I can’t even really begin to put into words how truly humbled I am by this whole fundraising experience. It has been quite the journey. It is intimidating, daunting, scary and just a bit uncomfortable to be honest to ask others for money. However, part of this entire process is about stepping outside of my comfort zone, to prepare for what the Lord has in store for me on this journey. It is just a stepping stone to how the Lord is going to use me in all the countries I will be traveling to.
I have gone through so many emotions throughout this process and I am excited to learn more about myself during this new season, but more than that, getting to really know Jesus on a more intimate and personal level.
I pray that where ever you are in your spiritual journey, that you have an encounter with the Lord. That you would be able to taste and see that He is good. Thank you so much to everyone that has prayed for me and continues to support me. It means more than you will likely ever know. I pray that the Lord repays you tenfold.
