Dear Friends and Family,
I hope you are doing so well and I want to start by saying thank you for taking the time to read this and by the end of it, I hope you have a better understanding of my heart and desire for the Lord and all of His people.
In September of 2020, after I graduate High School, I have the amazing opportunity of getting to share the name of Jesus in 3 different countries over the course of 9 months with a team through The World Race: Gap Year, a program through an organization called Adventures in Missions. While in those countries, we will be teaching English in schools, loving on widows and orphans, building homes, planting churches, ministering to those trapped in prositution due to human trafficking and simply loving on the people that the Lord puts in front of us.
The World Race has been a long dream for me and is something that I have been praying for since my Junior Year. I have a desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus and to take the gospel to the ends of the earth to proclaim the good news to the people who need it most.
Certainly, I cannot do this on my own. To chase my dreams and pursue relationships with people around the world to proclaim the freedom the Lord gives us, I need a support system at home. I can’t do this without you. So here I am asking you to give the greatest support I could receive – that is of prayer. Please consider walking alongside me through this journey and praying for things such a peace, confidence in this calling, comfort for my family and I, courage to step out of my comfort zone in anyway the Lord asks me to, and for the Lord to prepare my heart for the many things that He is going to do throughout this opportunity.
In addition to prayer support, I need to raise $16,600 over the next year which will cover the cost of all transportation, food, housing, insurance and other miscellaneous costs. I prayerfully ask you to consider donating to this calling that the Lord has put on my heart. Any amount that you feel led to donate will help!
