Alright, so here's a questionnaire my X-Squad mates put together! It has been so much fun reading everyone’s responses. Not only is this a great way to get a head start on getting to know my squad mates before training camp but also a great way to share with my supporters a different side of me!

Quote:
– to live by: “Pour LOVE on the broken places.” (It was on a bumper sticker in a book I read once)
– to ponder by: “I have lived pain, and my life can tell I only deepen the wound of the world when I neglect to give thanks for early light dappled through leaves, and the heavy perfume of wild roses in early July, and the song of crickets on humid nights, and the rivers that run, and the stars that rise, and the rain that falls, and all the good things that a good God gives. When I give thanks for the seemingly microscopic, I make a place for God to grow within me.” (by Ann Voskamp in One Thousand Gifts)
Scripture: Romans 8:38-39
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Most embarrassing/crazy story you are a part of: I’m sure there are plenty but the only one that comes to mind right this second is when my family and I had just arrived in the U.S. We were spending our first week in Miami, and we had gotten a rental, so my dad was driving around looking for the hotel. The address was One First avenue or something like that. None of us spoke English nor had ever been to this country before, so when we started seeing arrow signs pointing towards “One Way” we assumed the sign was pointing towards the address we were looking for!!! BAHAHA it took us a good 40 minutes until we realized what the sign meant and that we were just going down one way streets!!
One word that your closest friends and family would use to describe you: hmmm, you’ll have to ask them. But maybe “Blunt”.

What nonessential item do you want to bring in your pack? A blow dryer for my hair…but prob wont.
I have only had communication with my squad via Facebook so far, but already I can tell you that things are happening. God is moving. There's love being poured and life being breathed upon! The sense of community and FAMILY is one hundred percent there. With each post and each hilarious comment, I am slowly falling in love with each and every one of them. I'm growing impatient in anticipation to meet them all in person! I cannot wait to live out God's plans for my life beside these people. I cannot wait to be an instrument in all the places He will send us to, along with these people. I cannot wait to witness first hand how each of us will change and how the Lord will use each and everyone of us in each other's lives. And yeah…I'm excited!
