HALF WAY THERE PEOPLE!

March 17, 2018 marks the half way point of my incredible journey across the world. Woah, it’s crazy to think where I came from, all the places I’ve been and how much I’ve grown in the last five and a half months!

To commemorate this day, I’ve gathered photos from my top five memories thus far. I’ve also created a video blog answering a few frequently asked questions about my race.

It’s time to reflect! Here are my top memories from the race. Although difficult to choose, I will truly cherish the moments featured below for the rest of my life.

#1 Adventuring in month one that led to biking through the Atacama Desert, and being rewarded with this view.

#2 That time in month two when I started the day in a truck full of food, tents and people and ended the day in an indigenous village in the Argentinian desert.

#3 The most beautiful Christmas Eve, in El Alto, Bolivia. The night we washed feet, exfoliated hands and painted nails for over a dozen young women who were spending the holidays apart from their families in a rehabilitation center.

#4 When I became an English teacher in Svay Chek, Cambodia.

#5 The day that will live in infamy… when I met elephants in Thailand!

It’s been a wild, crazy, difficult, impactful and purposeful six months that I wouldn’t trade for the world.

As promised, my video blog is below. A look back on my race and answers to some frequently asked questions.

All my love! <3
