I posted a new fund raising campaign on my Facebook page yesterday and I have already had two donations made!!! One for the highest amount requested, and one for half of the highest!
Praise God!
For the first 2 months after I was accepted, my World Race fund raising account sat at a meager 1%. It was an incredible test of faith and I prayed and prayed for a large church to agree to sponsor me fully. It was during one of those long prayers that I realized: the 99% will come. It may not come now, or even soon, and it may not come from places I expect, but I stand here in full assurance that God will bring the funds necessary for this ministry. And that brings such relief!
Although I have not found a church to sponsor the full amount, I HAVE received support (financial, spiritual, and emotional) from my church home, and from my friends and family who may be as excited as I am myself! I have been so humbled!!!
Yesterday I began an Adopt-A-Box campaign. If you have been keeping up with my journey and would like to help, please don’t let the fact that you only have $3 to spare stop you! Here are the details:

WHAT: 100 boxes that need to be sponsored and checked off. I need you to join me in this ministry, even if you only have $3 to spare! There’s a box here for you! If we all work together to donate each amount listed we can raise a total of $5,050!
WHEN: Now! My first financial deadline is in May and it’s coming quickly!

Make a donation of any amount from $1-$100 and then leave your name and donation amount in the comments below this post. Each week I will upload a new chart to my Facebook page (Amy’s World Race) showing which boxes have already been taken and which are still up for grabs!
WHY: For 11 months my squad mates and I will be loving on orphans,widows, sexually trafficked women, and people who need to meet Jesus, our Savior! I need to raise $16,266 and I can’t participate in this ministry without your help! The 99% will come, and this is one way you can be a part of it at any amount!
