Dear Family and Friends,
I have never been good at asking for things, especially money… well except for from my parents :), but this next chapter in my life requires pure humility. So, here it goes:
In March of this year I set up a meeting with a Charles Schwab representative to talk about my 401-K. Little did I know, Chad on the other end of the phone would spark a fire inside of my heart that would eventually lead me into the next chapter in my life – the World Race. I didn’t know it immediately, but after months of prayer, I am thrilled to share that God talked to me and I listened!
The World Race is an 11-month mission trip to 11 different countries. From January – November of 2014, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children caught in human trafficking, and bring the restoration and hope of the Father’s love and salvation to many tribes and nations. We truly get to be the hands and feet of Jesus as we were called to do!
Now, this is the part where God works amazing things through my family, friends, and even those I don’t know. I am hoping that you would consider partnering prayerfully and financially with me in this journey. The cost for me to join the WR is $17,000… Yes, I know this is A LOT of money, but with God, all things are possible. Think about it this way: if only 100 people pledge $20 a month for 9 months, I would have 100 percent of all the funds necessary for my trip.
