So, not knowing if it was going to workout, timing wise, a few Team Valor! members fought to make it to Singapore. It looked like our first weekend there would be our only option, time was running out. As we started to look we realized that no trains (the ideal mode of transportation according to out host) were available, everything was sold out!

We spent nights/mornings running to the train station in town seeking canceled tickets, to no avail. Then we decided that the only possible way we could get there would be by bus. So early one Sunday morning, Alexis, DeAnna, Erica, Kehinde and I headed to Singapore with no set plans (no tickets, no place to stay). Little did we know what we were walking into.

We, luckily, made it there (2 buses and a Starbucks internet session)! Singapore is a city after my own heart. Its the cleanest, friendliest, most organized city I have ever visited. I don’t know what you have in mind for the cleanest city you’ve visited, but it ain’t got nothing on this little bit of utopia. I mean, just check out this metro!

You could seriously eat off the floor… that is if you were allowed to eat (or drink) in the metro. Doing so results in a $500 (Singapore dollar) fine.

Also, they avoid durian like the plague there. That stuff stinks!!

I feel in love with Singapore. It was so beautiful… CLEAN… ORGANIZED 🙂 We really had a great time there! Let me show you a few more pictures of our time in #utopia from the gorgeous views driving in, to the hotel, to Universal Studios, the food and even the money!

Even the money is proper. Welcome to Utopia.
