Thank you Lord for this month! Team Abounding was blessed with the opportunity to spend month 7 of our Race loving the beautiful babies of Cambodia. For me, it has been 4 months since I last worked with kids and this month completely filled my heart with joy. Not only did we get to spend time with the ridiculously adorable kids at our home, we also got to spend time with people in the nearby villages. All of the children we met in Kampong Thom have smiles that would light up a room. I am filled!

And now I would like to give you the opportunity to meet some of the people who touched my heart so much during our time in Cambodia:

Meet So Path. This boy instantly stole my heart from the very first time I saw him. He is 9 years old and has the sweetest smile. He loves to dance and be thrown in the air. His laugh is contagious.

Meet To La. Wow, is this kid a cutie or what!? He laughs and you can't help but smile and laugh along with him. He loves to be chased around and he loves piggy back rides. We are so thankful that he is at Hope for Children. He, along with his sister, was about to sold by his mother for $300. Hearing his story breaks my heart, but you would never know it after meeting him, he was so full of joy!

Meet Srey Pov, To La's sister. Like To La, Srey Pov was to be sold by her mother for $1,000, but her aunt stopped the transaction. You can't put a price on a life, thankfully she has found a home and a family here that loves her!

Meet Timothy (pronounced Tim-o-tae). He is 9 years old and is the biggest goof. He runs around the home in moto helmets and he puts on make-up because we do! He has the biggest heart 🙂

Meet Borray. This kid loved being around and helping us out. He was always there smiling and wanting to play. He just makes you laugh all the time!

Meet Vichet. While he is not a kid, he deserves a shout out! Vichet has a heart that is so kind and loving. His servant, humble attitude was encouraging and we were all so blessed to have worked alongside him this month. Thank you for everything, Vichet.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST… drum roll please….

Meet team #abounding. We have spent the last 3 months together; Thailand, Myanmar, and Cambodia, but we are heading into a change. While in month 8 of the Race we will be separated so that the men (and ladies) of this squad can have a month together. The World Race gives us one of these months to allow the men (and women) of the squad to go deeper with each other, something that is hard to achieve in a coed team. Manistry/Feministry month is a huge blessing on the Race! I am so thankful for the chance we had to grow together for our first 3 months in Southeast Asia. I know God has big plans for these wonderful people, I can't wait to see how He works!!

**side note: while we look ridiculously awesome in these shirts, none of us own anymore 😉

"He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: 'Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.'" ~Matthew 18:2-4
