Yes, I know that God is big, but all my life I have had him in a box. A box that was organized, that made sense, that needed little explanation. I mean, this is the God I met in church on Sundays, on Wednesdays at Young Life, during prayers and quiet times. He was there, I knew He was there, I knew He loved me just as He loves you. I knew I was in a relationship with Him, and that He was persistent in pursuing that relationship even if I was looking (or running) in the opposite direction. But little did I know, God wanted me to know MORE about Him and He wants YOU to know more too.

During Training Camp I was rocked!!! Through the amazing words of our guest speakers, ridiculously amazing worship, the AIM staff, and the future racers; that God that I had placed so neatly in a box now looks a little different; the box has been SHATTERED!! I can’t wait to see how the Holy Spirit will work in us and thru us as we begin our journey. Its going to be eye opening and life-changing. If you don’t know the Holy Spirit, pray about it or ask me!! I would love to share the good news of the Holy Spirit with you! Stay tuned for much more about the Holy Spirit during my year abroad.

Last blog I shared a picture of my squad, God’s Army!! Now I will introduce you to my team, Team Aldephoi (meaning brothers and sisters in Christ) and they are AMAZING 🙂 Here they are (me (duh), Isaiah, Jade, Julie, Anna, Zachary, and Jess):

Team Adelphoi - All for His Glory

I can’t wait to spend next year with them, the Holy Spirit, and the amazing people we will meet!

Romans 8:17 “And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.”

All for His Glory,

Amy

I will wait on you

And strength will rise up in me
