Zeo time in prayer before a service. I love my team! đ This is where the church service is held if it rains, otherwise we worship outside.

Staked out at the corners were our intercessors, we could feel the spiritual covering as this time God had really burdened our hearts to be in a constant state of prayer and worship, letting Him draw the people in. My sister Mallorie had an amazing message of FREEDOM that God had placed on her heart word for word. From the moment she had awoken, the enemy tried to pull her down and make her doubt anyone would come. This made us pray even harder and realize how important this message wasâŠdeclaring the Freedom we have in Christ and that the devil is defeated and has no authority. Light (Jesus Christ) immediately dissipates darkness (evil)!
Once again it was time to start and no one had yet come. We began to worship, completely believing in faith that God would bring those who needed to hear the TRUTH! They started coming. Amigos we had made and prayed by name for (specifically Carlos, JuanCarlos, and Miguel) showed up, hungry for more of the Holy Spirit that they had tasted. As the drama called âSet Me Freeâ began (a powerful drama depicting a girl tormented by demons and then Jesus Christ sacrificing His life for her freedom!), a distraction came. Staggering down the street came a drunken elderly man. I stepped out to greet him, and he got louder and more distracting. He stopped right outside the gate and was making lots of noise, not wanting to move from that place.
Chad came over to help the man walk on down the street away from the drama. We tried carrying on a conversation with him, but it wasnât going anywhere. We laid our hands on him and prayed for awhile, finally he was quieting down. In his plastic bag, he was carrying a six-pack of beer. He offered us some and at first we said “no,” but then Chad had the bright idea of taking them so that he would drink no more. I was having trouble keeping a straight face as I caught on to his idea and we started taking the beers one by one from him, then dumping them when he was not looking. After we had gotten all 6, we replaced them with a bottle of water. Having done everything we really could for him at the time, we got him a taxi home.
The night was incredible as we saw the impact prayer had made- every one in that place was rocked and came to the front, either for accepting Christ or to receive prayer for freedom in some area. We spent a sweet time in worship afterward with the whole group, lifting a fragrant offering of praise to God for being so good!
My teammate Anne was moved to do some night street evangelism, and take out food to whoever the Lord laid on our hearts. So, 5 of us headed out around 10p and prayed for the Lord to guide our steps. (Unfortunately, none of us brought our cameras) We first stopped at a shack and were invited in by a family, who ended up being Christians. They had their Bible open on the table and it was a special time of praying together with them in our different languages. We could not understand what they were saying, other then they were very grateful and kept blessing us. For all we know, they could have been praying for their next meal. Next we saw a homeless man named Jesus curled up in a corner. We offered him food, which he quickly devoured. We have Spanish tracts made up, and were able to share the gospel with him. He then began to sing a song for us (which we did not understand, but really enjoyed :), pray for him, and invite him to our plaza ministry. Our hilarious new amigo Poncho was the next person we met, he was very animated and friendly. He, also homeless, was hanging out around the hospital. He was so thankful for the food and also began to sing us a song. He found a long tube and sang through that, and began adding the words from the tract we had given him to his tune and started going around the street (quite a crowd had gathered) to show them the tract. It was such a beautiful site to see him immediately sharing what we had just shared with him! The hospital doors were closed for the night, so there were lots of people sleeping on the streets and hanging out, waiting until morning so they could visit their loved ones. We talked with a few more people and handed out all our tracts, everyone was curious and wanted to have one. I think this was the most fun night I have had so far! I really enjoy street evangelism because I am a big fan of talking to people individually and therefore giving them your full attention!
