Just wanted to give a brief update to everyone about this month in Ecuador.
My team and I are staying in a small village east of Quito known as Huaticocha. For the month we are staying with the pastor from the town and his family, his name is Ivan, his wifes name is Nancy and they have a son names Isaac who is 7. Our ministry hosts name is Jim (and hes the coolest!) who works for the
mission school known as Ninawachi where we will be helping out a few days a week.

We have been here for 4 days so far and I am already falling in love with this place. Our ministry work so far has been basically to build relationships with the people in the community and encouraging the people in smaller villages around. This past Wednesday and every Wednesday for the month we will be going to a small village about an hour and a half away, we hike up a mountain to get there because there is no way for cars. What was so amazing to me this past week
when we were there was the fact that, here we are in a remote village in the amazon, and these brothers and sisters up here are our brothers and sisters in Chirst who serve the same God we do. It is so amazing to know that fact!

Please pray for our time here in Ecuador for the rest of the month and pray for when the time comes for us to leave, I already know it will be tough to say goodbye to Huaticocha and our family that we have already made here.
