God answers prayer.
I started this journey with such anxiety about the money. To God $18,000 is nothing, but when thinking about it from my limited perspective it is a crushing goal. And boy did Satan step in and push that anxiety to the max, reminding me of the weight I was under.
But God is more powerful than Satan could ever be. And He just needed me to get out of my own head and start listening to Him.
So He started by introducing me to some of the best people ever, my World Race team. We may not have met in person yet, but they are already such an amazing support system for me.
One day while chatting, one of the girls shared this image:
This hit me so hard. NOTHING is impossible with God. NOTHING! So why am I letting Satan bog me down with anxiety about this money? God will provide.
I wrote the quote down on my bathroom mirror as a reminder, something that I would see every day. And one morning it got me thinking, “Why am I praying just for the money? I need to start praying for the impossible. I need to pray to be fully funded before March 1st.”
So that’s what I did. Every day I ask God to provide what I feel is impossible but to Him is not. And you know what? He started to provide.
I have a deadline on January 8th of having $5,000 toward my trip. When I started praying that God would show up in a big way I had less than $1,000 and now I am $250 away from making this deadline. In just 2 weeks God has provided what I thought was impossible.
I know if He can do what He did in 2 weeks, 55 days to fully find me is nothing. So I will continue to trust in Him. And can’t wait to share my testimony of how God provided when I didn’t see a way.
