My World Race mobilizer asked me what she should pray for when it comes to my trip. I told her I was having a hard time coming up with fundraising ideas and asked that she pray that God leads me to the right idea. She happily agreed.
I kept praying too. I needed some idea of what to do other than begging people for money. Only nothing was coming to me. Turns out God was sending an idea to someone else.
One day my sister sends me a group text where one of our friends, Jennifer, has come up with an idea for an art auction. We would have people donate art and auction it off. The art would be donated and made by friends. What an awesome idea!
So Jennifer started the Facebook page and posted the idea. We have had so many people interested in donating art it has been over whelming to me. We also have people offering to submit things other than paintings such as jewelry and photos.
It is going to be amazing! We have some of the most beautiful paintings already being posted. I can’t wait to see how God shows up on February 2nd.
