Simply Love

Loving.

 

All this and more is what is going on in my heart. I feel like my heart is being stretched. If this continues, as I know it will, my heart is going to be more mighty than ever before. It is hard to describe all that is going on, because there is so much. Each day has enough depth in it to fill 3 or 4 days. Life is changing and I only want more.

 

Ever since I arrived in Mexico God has been filling me with His love. He wants to be the lover of my soul-only Him. I have put myself and others in front of Him for so long. I have desired the love of others above His love. Forgive me Lord. 2 days ago in a group prayer time I saw a gold wedding band being slipped on my finger. I accept my Lord´s invitation. I do not want my desire for someone to slip that ring on my finger to come above my God. I lay it down. He wants my whole heart.

 

Another amazing thing that has been revealed to me is that God is wanting to grow the gift of intercessory within me. My teammate Melanie, told me that she is confident that God has given me that gift. Once she told me that I kinda realized that I knew that about myself, but had not known what that was inside of me. I feel like God is speaking His truth and love into my heart. It has always been there, but my soul is just awakening to it.

 

I have been searching for a long time…and I have finally found it.

 

This is the verse that my teammate Sara spoke over me today that God had laid on her heart for me:

I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
