1. All toilet paper in Cambodia is pink.

3. Children walk through the muddy slums barefoot-
the puddles are full of urine and waste…heartbreaking.

4. A five month old baby captured my heart here in
the slums. She weighs as much as a two month old should L

5. God continues to teach me there is power and
authority in my prayers. I love it and want more.
6. 6. NO I do not need a tuk-tuk ride when I am
already sitting in a tuk-tuk.

7. I never expected to fall in love with Cambodia-
but God broke my heart for this nation.
8. I have introduced the most delicious Australian
cookie to my teammates…Praise the Lord Tim Tams are in Cambodia.
9 Seeing 42 children cry out to our Father on
behalf of the nations makes me wonder why more grown-ups don’t.
10. Cambodian men usually have a long pinky and
thumbnail…I have wanted to carry around finger nail clippers and attack every
man with them. No man should have longer nails than me!
11. The main concern of the people in the slums is
that they make enough money today to feed their family…reality check!
12. I either have a fungus, flea or bed bug bites… did I
mention my back itches.

13. I am missing the colors of Fall. The constant
year of summer offers no change of season yet.

14. Pastor Sarith is one of the biggest servants I
have ever met. Not only is he a pastor in the church here at the slums but he
also runs an orphanage. Talk about no free time.

15. I am not ready to leave here.

16. The phrase’ It’s as hot as hades’ should be
changed to ‘It’s as hot as Cambodia’.

17. I want to be less self involved and more of the
servant God has designed me to be.

18. At first glance the faces of Cambodians seem
uninviting and stern but with one smile from us their face lights up like they
just won the lottery. Beautiful!
