Tonight I have been reading The Heavenly Man, by Brother Yun. It is a powerful testimony of his life and hardships he has endured by following Christ. He is called ‘the heavenly man’ because when soldiers were trying to arrest him he shouted loudly, ‘I am a heavenly man! I live in Gospel Village! People call me Morning Star! My father’s name is Abundant Blessing! My mother’s name is Faith, Hope, Love!” He shouted these words to warn the people he was with to flee from capture. Even when death was staring him in the face, Brother Yun stood strong in his faith and proclaimed the love of Christ.
I am a Heavenly Woman! I choose you Jesus. No matter the opposition I meet or what distractions Satan puts before me, I stand strong in my faith. I am a heavenly woman and a follower of Christ.
I have already had surprising opposition for choosing to go on the World Race. At first I was hurt and upset because of this. Now I know that it is just another way Satan is trying to deceive me and whisper in my ear… you should not go on this trip! My friend Lisa told me to take it as a compliment because Satan is trying hard to distract and change my mind. She said God has big plans for me and that is why He wants me to go.
This is what I have to say to the world… I am a Heavenly Woman and I choose to follow my Savior, Jesus Christ!
