Luke 18: 16-17 “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

God has touched my heart this year with all the children’s faces I have seen. I have seen children hungry, alone, craving love and children filled with love. If I could have adopted every one I have fallen in love with, well let’s just say I would need a mansion to return home to. Why do we have trouble loving others some time? It is because we are stubborn, selfish, and greedy. Seeing how simple a child loves you is humbling. Today I had two of the pastor’s grandchildren crawling on top of for attention, when before they were scared for me to even come close to hugging them. Loving a child sometimes can be simple. Give them attention and they will love you, for the most case. God sees us through the same eyes…he is already crazy in love with us and is just asking for us spend some time with Him and let Him show us just how much He loves us. God’s love is simple. It is just there. It will never leave us. We do not have to earn it. Bottom line, God loves us more than we can ever begin to imagine.
