Seems like so long ago, but it’s been just a week.

An amazing hour!
It took us two hours to get there(they are never in a hurry). We also walked about an hour to get to the right matatu(van) and traveled about an hour by matatu and switched to another one before arriving at the Rafiki Gate.

I was sad that our time was short, but entering the gate, I felt like I was home. Something so familiar is hard to find on the race. We were so warmly welcomed. Davis was so surprised to see me;the look on his face was priceless. He knew I had plans to come, but he thought I was coming in August for his birthday. He is growing so much and I have missed him. I saw some of the children I carried around just two years ago and they are so big. I met the new children and saw some of the new construction projects going on with in the village.

God blessed me so much that day. My heart is full. Before returning to Nairobi, I felt God laying it on my heart to return to Rafiki before returning to the states. Maybe I will be celebrating Davis’ birthday with him this year…only God knows.
