Race journey! I want to begin by thanking all of you for your INCREDIBLE
support, whether that’s been through prayer, a donation, an uplifting letter,
or an encouraging conversation. Even though I have yet to leave the country to
begin my overseas mission work, I have already been amazed by God’s
faithfulness, love, peace, and the Holy Spirit’s presence. As I am
transitioning from college life to the mission field, I have sensed the Lord’s
presence guiding me through each day. I am learning how to depend on God’s Word
for my daily strength and confidence, how to fully love those around me with a
selfless love, and how to be as much like Christ as I can be. While I know
these are things I will be learning my entire life, God has brought me a long
way in my walk with Him.

I have been SO
blessed by the Lord and by all of you in this area. The World Race staff has
given all participants several deadlines (June 16- $4,000 ; July 14- $7,000 ;
August 18- $8,500), and I have already surpassed the first two deadlines! I
cannot express how grateful I am for all of your support. Every time I receive
a donation, no matter its size, I cannot stop praising God!! Some of the
donations given have caused me many tears of joy and gratitude and have left me
in awe of how FAITHFUL God is.
Reminder of What I’ll Be Doing on The Field!
be going to are the Philippines, India, Pioneer India/Nepal, Thailand, Cambodia, Pioneer Southeast Asia, Romania, Ukraine, Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya. My team and I will bring hope and
light to those who are trapped in human trafficking, forced prostitution, and
religious persecution. We will care for orphans, teach English, plant churches,
disciple individuals, give hope to the destitute, minister to children and
teens through sports camps, evangelize, and unveil God’s Kingdom!
Fundraisers
I just recently had a garage sale/bake sale that went towards my trip
and raised around $200, which again is a huge blessing and left me thanking God
again 🙂 I am also planning to do a benefit meal at my
church within the next month to raise more support.
Supplies
Needed
Considering I will be living out of a backpack for the upcoming 11
months, there are various supplies I need. These include a 2-person,
freestanding tent, an internal frame backpack, a sleeping bag for at least 30
degrees, and a sleeping pad. Several people have talked to me about letting me
borrow some of their items, so if you know of anyone with any of these items,
please let me know!
