I am finally back in the South…Georgia! My short time in Indiana was quite a whirlwind. From graduations to Haiti to birthday parties, my time became a precious comodity. It was a joy to reconnect with extended family members as well as friends from all stages of life!

my nephews 3rd birthday…missed it last year due to The World Race

When I came back from Haiti, I recieved a message that my friend, Noy, will be attending a YWAM Discipleship Training School in the fall out in Chiang Mai, Thailand! To refresh your memory, Noy, who was 18 at the time, used to work in the Red LIght District selling her body. Through many prayers on your side, in mid-March, she decided to leave the bars and work at a Christian coffee shop. From there I believe she found the Lord, and now He is leading her to go deeper!

Is He not good, always? This is a beautiful picture of how our God works. He takes us out of the miry clay…our crap that we are so entrenched in,ever so gently cleans us off and restores us to the life He has for us. Grace. Mercy. Love. Gentleness. Resoration. Redemption.

This is just one of many lives that has been changed through your love, prayers and financial support! I never would have met her without YOU GUYS being a part of the team. Her story is not only mine, but yours as well!

Aimee and I in Haiti getting pumped for Thailand

I am in Georgia wrapping up loose ends until the beginning of August, then it is back to Indiana until I launch out to Thailand. My hope it to set foot on Thai soil by the last week of August/first of September. All of this hindges on my financial status…

Currently I am sitting at roughly 45% of my monthly ($2100) pledged thus far and cannot depart until I have 85-90% pledged. Yes, it may seem like an unreal amount, $2100, especially to be a missionary in a devoloping country, but it is not in today's world. Almost half of the funds goes towards taxes (25%), health insurance (8%) and Adventures Admin fee (7%). Also, this amount includes (10-14%) ministry fund. *If you would like more of a breakdown, I will be more than happy to share.

Will you conisder joining the team financially with furthering Kingdom in Thailand, for more Noys to happen, by sacrificing a few starbucks or meals out on the town a month? I am in NEED OF MONTHLY supporters of $10, $25, $50, $75, $100…whatever the Lord lays on your heart.

To give, click on the "Support Me" link to the left of the blog. From there you can sign up for funds to automatically come out of your bank account monthly OR mail checks monthly to (place Amy Duncan-Thailand in memo)
