Having lunch on the lake after watching children get babptized
While this was going on, we had a group of 6 lovely Word Race Women staying at our home for the month. It was quite refreshing. They were a breath of fresh air! From having deep, heart felt conversations to boisterous laughter dancing off the walls, there was never a dull moment.
They were the right group of ladies that I needed in my life for that crazy, busy month. I am not really sure if they really know how much of a blessing they were. In the midst of what would appear like chaos to most, quickly turned into an abundance of FRUIT and well…cheese too. After a conversation about cheese, one of the ladies decided to buy me some cheese…not one pack but THREE! Yes, I know this may not seem like a big deal…but it is to me! Cheese is expensive out here so I steer clear of it most times, BUT she did not. One of many blessings.

before I left for the border…the Thai/Burma border that is 🙂
A few days after the Parent Vision Trip, I continued to bounce from one thing to another: meetings, planning a border trip with FBR, etc. The pace of life only amplified.
Towards the end of the month, it was once agin time to venture out to the border with a group of guests from America, FBR volunteers and the founder of FBR. This was an opportunity for people to see a glimpse of what FBR has their hands on in Thailand. From getting to engage in meetings with the ethnic ranger teams to putting on a program in Burma for an Internally Displaced People Camp to visiting a Refugee Camp, hearts were captivated.
