My life is what most people call weird, crazy, loco…if you will, but I’m ok with that.  Why?  Well, becuase I know who and whose I am.  You see, the other day we went to a funeral, BUT we weren’t there to burry this woman.  Nope, we were there to wake this young 20 year old mother up.  Crazy…I know right?!   She had died unexpectantly, and it was most definitely not her time.  Our God is a God of life, not death.

Aside was attempting to raise the dead, God has used us to heal many people.  Back in Kenya a woman’s shoulder was seperated (rotator cuff tear).  She was unable to move her arm without help. Pain ravaged through her arm.  We prayed and commanded the shoulder to repair in The Name of Jesus.  Right then, I could feel her shoulder being put back together.  Her arm began to twitch and repair itself.  At the end, she could raise her arm in the air and shake hands with no problems.  She was healed.  God healed her!   There are countless stories of God healing people because we are simply being obedient. The deaf are hearing and the lame are walking.

Ontop of healing and raising from the dead, He has used us to free people from demons.  Okay, pause.  If you did not know, we are at war…not against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6).  A spiritual war, but the Good News is that WE are on the WINNING SIDE so don’t fear!  In fact, perfect love castes out fear (1 John 4:18).  We went to a secondary (high) school the other day because some girls had demons in them, which is common in Ugandan schools.  We commanded the evil to leave in THE NAME OF JESUS. Praise Jesus because now they are free.  This is my life.  It is becoming a normalacy.

my lil buddy Peter

I have been working on this thing called faith.  I have always been told that we should aspire to be more like Jesus.  Awesome.  Great!  Spectacular!  Okay, help what does that mean exactly?  You see, I have read the Gospels before.  I have read what Jesus and his disciples did.  Incredible, cool were always my thoughts.  I never thought or knew that this was for me as well.  To be like Jesus is to be like Jesus.  The whole shabang.  It is that simple.  We can’t pick and choose: loving people, giving to those in need, being child like, helping others out, being selfless, casting out demons, healing, raising the dead, etc.

Jesus came in human form right?  Because of this, he forfieted all His rights as God.  He could do anything apart from His Father.  In fact, He only did what He saw His father do.  Wow!  Remember when Jesus was baptized and a dove ascended on Him?  It was then that He was filled with the Holy Spirit.  This is when the healings began, demons were fleeing and people were being raised from the dead.  The Holy Spirit.

The last few months, I became super frustrated.  I was irritated because I only knew the basics about the HOLY SPIRIT.  All too often, Holy Spirit is/was left out of churches.  It was for me growing up and many of my squadmates.  I cannot put all the blame on the church because I always brushed over Him in the Bible.  I read it with smeared glasses.  I only took what I wanted to take.  Praise Jesus that has all changed.  I have learned that because the Holy Spirit is in me, I walk in ever increasing authority.  If we profess to be lovers of Jesus, we ALL have the authority to caste out demons, to heal the sick, and raise the dead for His glory so that all may know who He is.  Read it for yourself.

By no means am I special becuase I am halfway around the world or am a “missionary”.  This does not make me any more “spiritual” than you.  We are all in process.  To be honest, it is the Spirit doing all the work.  I am just a tool.  It is not for my glory, but His.  It is not about my name, but His.  I am just a woman in process learning to trust and walk in the TRUTHS.  We pray “On earth and it is in Heaven” and well, there is no sickness in Heaven. T here are no demons or evil spirits.  There is no death.  There is no poverty.  There are no needy.  So…why not trust and step out in faith?
