These last 2 months, I have had an incredible time learning the ins and outs of Mae Sot, Thailand and OutPour Movement on a bicycle. I have built relationships with Muslim families that pick up garbage for a living, street kids that cause trouble, Burmese youth from two different children homes, the ethnic employees at Famous Ray’s, teams from around the world and people that I pass by every day on my bicycle. Needless to say, there has not been a dull moment yet!

The Refuge…one of the children homes we bike out to twice a week
Yet in the midst of all this, there is one piece that is missing from the puzzle of doing effective ministry for OutPour Movement. Please read below. Consider being a part this holiday season!!

It is time for change, for a new set of sturdier wheels that will enable us to carry out the dreams, desires, and life God has placed in our hearts. Bicycling just is not cutting it anymore for our OutPour Movement team. There are only so many kids and supplies that you can pile on a bike before, well, you get the picture. From taking kids from one children’s home to play sports with another home or engaging in worship together, to blessing the kids by taking them on different “field trips”. Four wheels are simply better than two and a basket.

i think my quads would burst, if I did not tip over first

In order for us to do ministry more effectively, our team is in need of a truck or “sawngtao” if you will. Now, a sawngtao is no ordinary truck; it’s like a truck on steroids. The bed of the truck is lined with two (sawng) rows (tao) of benches and a covering over the bed for safety. The benches allow us to haul up to 15 people outside of the cab and 5 inside. This is what we need; this is what we are praying for.
Public Transportation in Chiang Mai…Sawngtao
We are inviting you to be a part of furthering the Kingdom by bringing hope and Jesus to a generation of youth on the border of Thailand and Burma through a set of wheels. Purchasing a new vehicle is the most cost effective, wisest, and reliable decision to make for the long run. Unfortunately vehicles are more expensive in Thailand than in North America.
Will you be a part of helping us raise $30,000USD for “Bucks for Trucks”?
You can make your tax-deductible donation online at Bucks 4 a Truck( click Bucks 4 a Truck)or by mailing a check payable to (memo—Bucks for Trucks) to Kingdom Inc. PO Box 98438 Atlanta, GA 30359.
THANK YOU, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
After Saturday morning sports, kids from a children’s home pile in the back of our friend’s sawngtao so they do not have to walk home.

Yep, this really happens…PLEASE help us to not be these people 🙂
