A couple of months ago, our creative arts team began dreaming of a way to bring the Father’s love to the community through the Arts. We desired an event where kids from the poor muslim communities could do art side by side with the wealthy Thai kids. We wanted an environment where stigma and prejudices would be silenced. Dates came and went. Obstacles were thrown. Space was offered, then taken away. BUT nothing could stand in the way of what God was about to do at a Thai Chinese School!
This past month, we saw a dream become a reality because many people believed. With the help of our Thai friends, two World Race teams, and New Jerusalem Children’s Home, we were able to create a space where over 300 kids and their families could come brush shoulders with LOVE. Needless to say, it was more than we could have ever imagined and it was such an honor to be a part of something much larger than ourselves!
Below is something I wrote on Facebook…Enjoy the pictures………………….
A community wide event, hosted by OutPour Movement, where STATUS did not matter, rather a space was created where the poor and rich could express themselves side by side through the arts, athletics . A place where families watched as smiles lingered on their children’s faces. A time for kids to be kids. An opportunity for children to rub shoulders with Jesus in a non intrusive way. The first of many opportunities to change the face of Mae Sot and to restore BEAUTY through the future generations.

Could not have been a better winner. This little girl, who is from one of the poorer communities, was the lucky winner of this freshly painted fixie bike that was donated by an OutPour member. The entire family was present from grandma to siblings to pregnant momma. Whether they sold it for money or are riding it around town, I know they walked away blessed.
Thank YOU for being a part!!!
