A very dear friend and role model of mine went to be in perfect peace with Her Creator August 25, 2011. I thought a lot about her and how much she impacted my life. She inspired me in so many ways and even after her death, has given me great motivation.
I thought about how Joanne has shaped my life and who I am…I was able to go back to one very distinct memory of Joanne.. and, I thought about a character building block I have because of her…
Then, I began to think about all the other people I have in my life who serve as foundation to my personality and character.
So, I came up with a new challenge to myself.. make a list of these people who have impacted my life and be intentional about letting them know of their influence, their love and how much I appreciate them for it. I call it the Joanne Challenge. Let these people know that they laid a building block to Amy Colley while I still have them on earth…Tell somebody that you love them today.
