I just wanted to share a laugh with you!
well! As most of you know, I work at CVS Pharmacy during the summer and was able to save up some money.. so.. it did not even cross my mind in this particular conversation that this person did not know that…
the conversation went as followed….
"What are you doing personally to raise money for your trip?"
*As serious as possible, I responded…* "This summer, I actually sold a lot of drugs to help finance my trip."
They got real quite and had a huge look of concern…..
I then realized they did not know about CVS nor get my joke! They thought I meant DRUGS!
I clarified that statement and apologized for my witty sarcasm..
….Ahhhhhhh! It was hilarious. Be careful what you say!
For all my fellow racers, just a reminder: selling drugs to finance your mission trip…. is not the best way to raise money! Do not do illegal things to get money! Thats bad!!
Instead, Trust in the Lord! Do not grow weary in doing good! (Gal 6:9)
