Meet my new team, Agape8! They’re amazing!
Scott (the tall one) on top, then Jared and Dan (the two married men), Amy (me) and Beckey (the two wives), Amanda (the 7th grade Social Studies teacher), Rachel (works in the family business some…they have the finest of meats), and Patricia (another teacher and she’s also an amazing singer).
In this picture we were bowling. Once they told everyone who was teamed up with who they told us to go out and make a memory with our team. So…we went bowling and ate at some chicken place.
Our team name is Agape8. Christ love is what is compelling us to go around the world sharing that love and telling them about Jesus! Someone even said that the theme for the WR June ’09 Squad was LOVE! And well, there’s 8 of us on our team and that’s where we get the 8 at the end of Agape. Christ love is compelling all 8 of us to do this and to also grow together as a community, a family, well…just being the church!
They are amazing and they are my family! I’m looking forward to spending the ups and the downs with them this coming year!
