This week in New Zealand has been amazing. I am so thankful for the AIM leadership and their willingness to push us to new levels of intimacy with Jesus. We will be heading out tomorrow to begin our first ministry assignment.
For the next two weeks my team and I will be backpacking on a popular trail near Auckland. There is no specific event or person we will be serving. The plan is to ask the Lord to speak and then do and say what he tells us.
I can’t wait to share with you the stories of what God speaks and how lives are changed.
Until then, please enjoy the random thoughts of my friend Liz.
Firecracker
Amy Book is like a firecracker for the kingdom of God. Because of the presence of the Lord in me, when I enter into a place, explosions happen. It isn’t just Biblical for me to speak life into people, it’s a life style. It’s a choice, a decision. The wick of my firecracker has been ignited- I’m bringing the kingdom… I hope you are ready!
Pickles
Amy is like a pickle. There are so many different flavors such as: sweet, hot, sweet and sour, hot and sweet, dill, butter, kosher. Just like the pickle, I too have many different flavors.
Toilet paper
Life is like a roll of toilet paper…. Long and useful
Chewing Gum
The Lord speaks to me in some crazy ways. When he lays something on my heart for someone else, they normally have to chew on it for a while, really getting a taste for its flavor (for what it means) knowing full well that it is only meant to freshen their breath (push them toward the cross)
