That is exactly what the people of Christ the King International Pentecostal Fellowship are doing and they have invited us to join them.

Last night Lana delivered the Truth of Jesus Christ very plainly at the open air revival. 
 
There are two paths. One leads to death and one leads to life. 
She explained how through Jesus we can not only have eternal life but we can also have abundant life here and now. 

But, without Jesus we are headed for death.

She gave the people who were gathered a chance to choose. She made it clear that it was their choice to make and begged them to choose life.

Gina chose life.

Gina is a 26 year old woman who has been unable to hear for two years.

We began to pray.

At first we were just praying for the healing of her ears. 

I prayed specifically that the pain in her ears would be gone and that whatever was blocking them would come out.

 Gina can read lips, so Jeffta (one of the men from the church) began telling her exactly what we were saying.

We asked if anything had changed. Could she hear anything? 
The answer was no. 

 

At this point I was a little stumped. I knew we weren’t finished but, I wasn’t quite sure where to go from there. I turned to my teammate Katie and asked what the Lord was speaking to her. 

Katie felt like we should make sure she understood salvation and confirm that she had indeed asked Jesus to come into her life.

Through Jeffta I asked Gina to talk to Jesus. I told her to ask Him to come into her life and take over. She did just that. She spoke directly to Jesus and said she could feel that her heart was different. 

And as if that’s not miracle enough, we then went back to praying for healing.

Katie asked her to close her eyes and say ‘I am healed in Jesus name’ 10 times. She declared healing over herself repeatedly. 
She believed in her heart that Jesus was healing her ears. 

 
She then told Jeffta that the pain in her ears was gone. 

The look on her face was priceless! The pain she had been experiencing before we prayed was now gone and you could see
the joy and excitement on her face. 
She kept telling everyone that the pain was gone, repeating the story over and over again.

 
 
We continued talking with Gina and trying to set up a time to meet and pray with her more.

While we were talking we were asked to pray for a young girl with epilepsy. We prayed for her and had Gina pray too. 

Welcome to the Kingdom, Gina. The same Power that lives in us now lives in you too and you just experienced what this Power can do.

While Gina was praying she started touching her ears a lot. 
Something was dripping out of one of her ears. 

Not only was her pain gone but something was coming out.

When this happened I remembered the exact words I had prayed.

I had prayed specifically that the pain in her ears would be gone and that whatever was blocking them would come out. 

Those things happened. 

The Jesus that lives in me used my mouth to speak this healing over Gina.

This same Jesus lives in you. And because Jesus lives in you, the power to heal the sick also lives in you.

I may not have much to give in the form of money or things.

But what I do have – the LOVE and TRUTH of Jesus Christ – brings HEALING and JOY and most importantly LIFE.

And yesterday I got to give that away.    

Gina now has life and someday soon she will have her hearing back too.
