Dear Friends and Family,
I have exciting news, I got accepted to go on the World Race ! The World Race, run by Adventures in Missions (AIM), is a trip spanning 11 countries in 11 months to serve those less fortunate than us . While on this trip we will be loving on orphans, feeding the homeless, visiting different schools, teaching kids English, and praying for healing . Our main purpose is to spread the gospel by showing God’s love to a world in need.
As my relationship with the Lord has grown, a verse keeps getting brought back to me . “All who believed were together and held everything in common, and they began selling their property and possessions and distributing the proceeds to everyone as anyone had need” Acts 2, 44-45. This is the life that I want to live, giving back to others who have far less than I could imagine .
To be able to complete the World Race I will need to raise $15,500 to cover the cost of food, shelter, travel, as well as training . In addition, funds are needed for medical insurance, and vaccinations . I cannot express how excited and honored I am to see how God will move in my life and in the lives of others . Even though the World Race doesn’t officially start till September 2012, my journey begins now !
While I feel called to go on this trip it will not be possible to go without the help from someone like you ! I cannot express how much I appreciate any contribution you are willing to make . I am thankful for any amount of prayer and or financial help. Even if you are unable to support me financially your prayers are just as important and appreciated just as much !
