Top five Favorites about the Philippines :

1. The children : I know this may be a huge shocker to you haha  .. But really the  kids here were filled with so much  joy and absolutely loved us Americans !! These children also loved dancing , singing, and mocking our moves and accents. I especially fell in love with this sweet girl Jas who reminded me of a little me πŸ™‚ .. I got to spend time with her almost everyday since she was the pastors daughter . The really amazing thing about the children there is what God is doing in and through them . Food for the hungry gives the children bible reformation classes, these classes are making a huge impact in the lives of these kids as they are taught about their need for Jesus , and the elders also  invest their time and love  ! These kids then share what they have learned with their families and friends by words and actions , these children  are made new and have been given a desire to learn more about Jeus so they read their bibles and encourage their parents to do the same. One of the churches we went to had a six year old drum player , a 13 year old guitar player and a 13 year old worship singer ! The youth there are ready to be the next generation as they are  the  light and change that the Philippines needs , tis excites me as God has huge plans for these kids !

2.The People : the people in the Philippines are incredibly giving , loving , friendly , welcoming and absolutely BEAUTIFUL !! The women here are perfectly tan and don't age  at ALL ! They are beautiful on the inside and out .. The people we were in contact with treated us like family , and took amazing care of us ! Strangers also took amazing care of us as we'll .. There was one day a group of us were going to a cave and we weren't exactly sure how to get there and there was a sweet older lady who took us on three different jeepniees and a trike until she made sure we got to the right place we also had three college girls who were on the bus who walked us all the way to the cave to triple check and make sure we were safe.. We didn't ask any of them to help us they did it on their own it was amazing !!

3.The BEACHH : I dont know about you but when my feet hit the sand i turn into a kid all over again ! This is the place my team and i would get away for the week ,we would relax as we  sit on the sand and listen to the waves , other times we would run wild into the ocean,  we even got the opportunity to take surfing lessons and surf the ocean πŸ™‚ ! However when it was pouring rain we would go to a resort and eat American food, and drink amazing coffee, prie bliss  !!

4.  Going to the LCC :  We went to this grocery store EVERY single day at least once a day !  We got to talk to some of the workers there, they were so nice and friendly. A huge plus is they had a coffee, ice cream and pizza stand right outside the grocery store, most days we would take full advantage of all three options πŸ™‚ !  As we walked to and from the LCC we would here gum gum style at least two times each way… definitely their favorite song ! And a couple times we got sang to .. Americans are a hot commodity in the Philippines , I'm not sure why but its the truth !

5. Last but not least, I loved the green trees everywhere, the fresh fruit , I even loved the rain ! The Philippines is absolutely beautiful , the transportation we had was awesome as well .. The vehicles we road in were called  trikes ,  since they had limited seating inside they allowed you to ride on top of the vehicle, on the back or even on the side πŸ™‚ , I absolutely LOVEDD the open air it was awesome !! I definitely wouldn't mind going back to visit that's for sure πŸ™‚ !!
