Hey y’all,
I have less than 20 days before I am home :0 As crazy as that is, I want to share and update you guys as much as possible over the next few days on the past months.
My last country in Europe was Spain and during the last week we had PVT (Parent Vision Trip) where our parents had the chance to visit and see what we have been doing and learn about the heart behind our year. Going into the race I didn’t see the need of this and was indifferent on whether I wanted my mom there, but I am SO glad she came!! Having a few days to sit with my mom and share with her all the cool things I have learned and having her meet all the people who have been such an important part of this year was truly incredible. During that week we had the couple who founded the Unscripted route come and share about the vision behind it and share about Kingdom which was so good! It was impactful to hear these teachings again later in the race – we heard this month 1 in Cambodia, and while it was good then, we had no idea how life would actually look for us. Fast forward to month 9, and now we can grasp the concept of Unscripted because we have actually lived it.
Another highlight for me during PVT was meeting other parents. We have all lived together for months and gotten to know each other well, and seeing everyone’s interactions with their parents was tender sweet! We also had the opportunity to teach and share with the whole group on topics we felt like we were supposed to touch on. Some taught on hearing Gods voice or Sonship, and others led activations where we practiced what was being taught. I felt like I was supposed to share about family and building a legacy on an eternal foundation, and I shared my testimony about the relationship I had with my mom – if you don’t know about how God changed our relationship and want to, please send me a message! It was truly a wonderful week and I was so refreshed after getting to be with my mom for a few days – so excited I get to see her so soon 🙂
