Quick Recap:
This Month has been All Squad month- that means all 56 of us are in 1 house(with some tents and hammocks). Living and ministering to the community together.
It is a challenging and rewarding time to learn how to embrace and love new people, as well as the missionaries right beside me. After all, its kind of meaningless to try and love new people groups if I can’t first love the person right next to me.
On a personal level, the Lord has been bringing me through a seasons of:
[breaking] off things that I am still holding on to, when it is best to let go. I can have the best intentions but God still wants to remove it to make way for something new, something greater.
[healing] The promise of the “something greater”. The hope and anticipation that brings can’t be matched.
also, the Lord has helped me find my deep JOY and gladness again and He is showing me how He sees me, to renew how I see myself. Its been pretty stellar. 🙂
