During my time with the Lord, one of the first “messages” that I ever wrote has constantly been on my heart…I didn’t understand why until now…

This is the story of The Widow’s Olive Oil…

“The wife of a man from the company of the prophets cried out to Elisha, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that he revered the Lord. But now his creditor is coming to take my two boys as his slaves.” Elisha replied to her, “How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?” “Your servant has nothing there at all,” she said, “except a small jar of olive oil.” Elisha said, “Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don’t ask for just a few. Then go inside and shut the door behind you and your sons. Pour oil into all the jars, and as each is filled, put it to one side.” She left him and shut the door behind her and her sons. They brought the jars to her and she kept pouring. When all the jars were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another one.” But he replied, “There is not a jar left.” Then the oil stopped flowing. She went and told the man of God, and he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left.””

In this story, there’s a widow that finds herself in financial trouble. So she seeks out a prophet of the Lord. In the process, she is asked what she has, but immediately she discredits the very thing that will serve as provision. (1. Don’t Underestimate Your Gift) Once she acknowledged her gift she was instructed to tap into her community, so her sons went out and collected all the jars they could find. (2. Don’t Underestimate Your Community) Upon collection of the jars, she went to work pouring…AND…God used the very thing that she discredited, as a means of provisions in her situation. (3. Dont Underestimate God)

I have been discrediting the very thing that I believe will serve as provision in this walk…My willingness to GO. Just as the widow surrendered and committed her olive oil to the Lord. I have surrendered and committed myself to this walk with the Lord, wherever He takes me. THE NEXT STEP, is where I need YOUR HELP!! Just as the widow and her sons tapped into their community to collect jars, I am
seeking to tap into mine!! If we partner in the Adopt-A-Box process, and get boxes 1 to 124 adopted, I will be fully funded!!!

Just as God, took what the widow surrendered to Him and used it to provide…I am believing, that with your partnership, the Lord’s will use the communities that he placed me in…AND…I will be fully funded by November 30! I can’t do this without your help! Please pray, partner (donate) and share! Together, we can bring this vision to complete fruition!!
