Today is my birthday. I’m turning the page to Chapter 29, but before we get into foreshadowing…I would love to take you all through a recap of Chapter 28. Over this past year A LOT happened:
- Turned 28 coming off of my Vietnam/Australia Missions Trip
- Applied and got accepted into the World Race Expedition Mission
- Worked on Hurricane Harvey Relief
- Moved to Cali to assist with Wildfire Relief (only a couple months)
- Published “The Ups and Downs of Madison Brown” (Buy your copy TODAY at https://www.amazon.com/Ups-Downs-Madison-Brown-Middle/dp/0692986154 )
- Started attend Windsor Village Young Adult Ministry (and met the most amazing people and transformative leaders!)
- Taught my first 3-part series on Missions/Evangelism
- Organized and lead my first Mission Team (Costa Rica was AMAZING! #CREAMSWAGGA)
- Wrote my first screenplay/scripted podcast series “The Table”
- Wrote my first song, “Come to the Table”
- God covered me in a nearly head on collision with a drunk driver
- Prepared to leave my regular life for basically a year
- Packed my life in a 65L backpack to live from for basically a year
- Arrived at launch, for last minute training before I go do life backpacking overseas for basically a year.
- And a bunch of other stuff that I’m forgetting!
Yea…Chapter 28 was pretty awesome, but I believe the best is yet to come! Today, I had the honor of walking into Chapter 29 at training camp with my AMAZING World Race family! They wrote me the sweetest notes (#MyLoveLanguage) and gave me tons of FOOD (#MYLOVELANGUAGE!!!). I am truly walking into Chapter 29 living my best life. Chapter 29 will include, but not be limited to, backpacking from Spain to China, where I’ll have the opportunity to spend time in Europe, Africa and Asia! This year will also include the release of a new book, and prayerfully, at least, one other creative project (shhhh…I haven’t been released to share specifics yet). This year will be an adventure! This adventure will for sure be amazing, but God’s revelation in Chapter 29 is sure to be unparalleled. Yea…this is going to be a pretty AWESOME year and an AMAZING way to close out my twenties!!!
