Quick testimony from the Kathmandu airport. Team Everest is currently waiting for our flight to Lukla to start our hike to Base camp.
The last blog I posted announced this opportunity and was about what our mission was going to be in this adventure.
I just want to brag on the Lord. At the end of that post I included info on the finances of the trip. Within 2 days I had the EXACT amount and then funds stopped coming in. EXACT. To the dollar!
How could that not be divine intervention!?
It’s just another example of how the Lord uses people to bless, provide, and for Him to show off!
I debated sharing this testimony out of concern for team members who aren’t fully funded, and out of fear of how this trip and my experience on it may be perceived.
But that’s totally the enemy. He’s scared of what will happen as people really recognize the Lords power.
God actually provides in crazy ways. He
wants to bless us and take us on awesome adventures with Him. He uses people to accomplish His will.
He loves His children, places desires on their hearts, and then loves to watch as those desires unfold.
He’s real. He’s personal.
Dad, I’ll be fine 🙂 I know you didn’t sign up for me to be climbing Everest but you’re being a trooper!
Thank you to each person who contributed to this trip. The Lord used you to tangibly show me his faithfulness in provision and confirm that this detour of a trip is really just the path He had planned
all along.
Finally, introducing Team Everest! Fight with us in prayer over the next couple of weeks. Catch ya on the other side of the mountain.
