There are so many people in the world hurting, lost, addicted to porn, drugs, alcohol. traumatized from their past. There are people sold, bought and used within the sex trafficking monopoly, people who never had the choice to have the life they live. There are hundreds of thousands of people all over the world broken, hurting, lost and blinded by the world and it’s talons that grip minds, bodys and souls.

So who can change it? Who can be the one to transform the world into a place of unity, safety and harmony? Is that even a possibility? Could it ever be possible to have complete peace? Could it ever be possible that bad things wouldn’t happen?

Maybe there is someone who can bring unity, peace, comfort, healing and reconciliation. Maybe there is someone who can open the eyes of this world so blinded by sin and materials.

If I told you there was someone who could bring world peace, total worldwide healing and in one breath could create a perfect sinless world, would you believe me? Probably not, and rightfully so. But, there is someone and I won’t tell you who it is yet.

See the thing is that someone who could do all of those things did come to earth. He came to bring healing, set captives free, bring peace, and set love as a cornerstone on which he would build. He set an example by the way he lived, how he treated others and how he made the ultimate sacrifice.

Yet, most people didn’t want to be told that you need to forgive people, love unconditionally, and not walk around like you are better then others. A lot of people didn’t like the thought of serving others and surrendering the flesh they thought we so rightfully possessed. Many people thought they had a right to judge and weigh the sins of the people around them and they like it that way.

See the thing is we all have been raised in a society that is all about ME. I need to look perfect. I need to walk, dress, act and portray myself as perfect. I need to make sure I have what I need before I help anyone else. I have to make sure I have a steady job so I can provide for MYSELF. I need an iPhone so I can watch MY friends from a fake screen how much fun they are really having.

We as a society have become so self centered and so focused on what’s either in our hands or behind a screen that we have lost sight at the world around us and literally outside of our front doors.

We need to bring back the one person who can fix all of this and not be pansies anymore. We need to be stepping out in boldness. We need to help those who are in need. We need to stop looking down and start looking up, cause one day we could lose sight of what our actual focus should be. We NEED Jesus.

So many “Christians” today are living and hiding behind closed homes and churchs. To scared to go out but to prideful to stay in. So they live the “Christian life” go to church on Sunday or Easter/Christmas, lift their hand during worship, pray for a bit and then go about their usual busy life ignoring the hurt, pain, brokenness, lost and decay all around them.

What are we doing?! Why aren’t we praying for the lady in the grocery store? Why aren’t we expecting God to show up and provide? Why are miracle stories not being told? Why aren’t we sharing the gospel with every human we meet because we know the freedom we walk in and the torment they are headed for? Why are we so distracted and busy? Why, why, why are we withholding the only hope the world has?

Our life is a mission. It’s going to take sacrifice. It’s going to take boldness. It’s going to take surrender. It’s going to take crucifying our flesh. It’s going to take picking up our crosses and following the only one who can save this dying world.

Missions isn’t going out to a different country or countries. Yes, it’s part of some peoples callings but not everyone’s. It starts right in your own home. With your spouse, your children, your parents, your cousins, your aunt and uncle, your in-laws, etc. From there it spreads to your circles, and into your church. Then it continues into your neighborhood and community, then from there, your city. It starts with one person. And each person causes another ripple in the waters of salvation for the world.

It will cost you everything. Yet, Jesus gave His everything. And it will be much more amazing to store up those treasures in heaven then to try to hoard each and every cent, item, or thing.

Yep, we are human. Yes, we will mess up and not do it right. Yes, I am still working and trying to surrender to the Lord daily and walk out in boldness. Yep, I fail every day and don’t do the right thing all the time. Yes, give yourself grace, we are human. On this adventure, you better be sure as heck that you’re buckled in cause this thing called a relationship with Jesus is a wild ride, but it’s totally worth it.
