Why be my sister every day ?
I choose too because I love you. Even when you drive me crazy. I choose too because every day when I see you make me laugh. Even when I’m sad also when I’m happy you fill with me joy. You are a joy to be around, and you love me when I know you don’t want to. That’s why I choose to be your sister every day.
Lois is my 10 year old sister, no she is not my blood sister but we met through foster care when she was 2 months old. She has been my sister ever since and no one can take that away.
Why chose to love me as your own? Why chose to never give up on me and always support me as if I was your own child ?
First, we choose you before we even knew you. Months before our first encounter we accepted the calling from God to love children that he would send to our home. It just so happened that on April 1st Amber Nicole Wright walked into our lives. (To this day we are not sure who was fooled.) I am sure on that day we were just as nervous as you were. From the get go we loved you as much as you allowed us too. You changed our lives so much and it was really a learning experience for us all. God kept shaping us all to make us the crazy family we are today. You are our daughter that God chose for us. Love is unconditional for family and that is who you are to us. Families love by encouraging, correcting, supporting, growing and learning from each other. So girl you are stuck with us.
Larna and Treva Bundy were my first foster parents, and even though some days I make it hard for them to love me they choose to everyday and honestly I’m glad cause I like being stuck with them.
Why choose to be my friend everyday ?
You’re my friend because you always have my back. You’re always there when I need someone to vent to, talk to, or just share a laugh with. You’re not scared to tell me what I don’t want to hear, but that’s exactly what I need to hear in that moment. You have a positive outlook on life that I try to model mine after, and you are a light around others. Plus, you’re one the few people I can tease to the point of us fist fighting, but you still stick around. You’re my best friend and I’m thankful for you .
Cole James has been my best friend for a few years now. The story how we meet is a funny one maybe I’ll share that one day. Cole is like a younger brother I never wanted but so blessed that I know him.
Why be my friend continually even after everything? Why choose to never give up on me ?
Amber, I’ve never met anyone who’s gone through what you did and not be on drugs or blame the world or God for their problems. You are sooooo strong and kind! You have been a dear friend I would even go as far as to say like a sister to me! I have no reason to ever give up on you because you haven’t done the same to me! You’ve always had my back and you love my babies like they are your own! I didn’t need to know anything about you but you opened up to me and shown me your wounds and scars and all it means to you is your past. You always remember God loves you and always get through the hard times. I love you and God couldn’t have given me a better best friend then you!
Briiz Ross I meet her at church and we became friends very quickly. Briiz being A young mother of two kids, married, and living hours away , may seem like a barrier but our relationship has never changed because we choose each other daily. Briiz is an amazing mother and friend.
I asked this question to people who chose me, they never had to play the part they did. They never had to be there for me at 4 am in the morning or be there when I feel like no one is.
Every choice we make is something that will make an impact.
Lord chose to send his only son to die for your sins. I know sometimes I forget how really amazing that truly is. The people above chose me because they love me unconditional, but the Lord chose me and you way before there was a You and I. Lord Gave his ONLY son. I don’t have a son but if I had to give up one of the people above I know that would be a very hard decision. The Lord gave up his only one so that we could live a enteral life. I know I don’t always thank him enough for choseing to be the most loving and wonderful father.
My Prayer for you: That you know how special you are and that God handcrafted you to be something special. You are special and loved by the greatest Father ever. He cares and loves every part of you and your life. He wants you to know that nothing you can do can change how He feels. May you find or chose people in your life to love and love them as hard as you can. Let someone know today that you love them and care for them.
My Prayer: Lord, I fail you daily but I know that you chose me to be something special, you love me even when you know that I will fail you. I made the choice awhile back to truly trust you Lord because I know you will guide me on the right path. Accepting and believing in you has been the best decision I ever made. I will try every day to please you, so one day you will say, “Well done my good and faithful servant”.
Doing the race has been a dream of mine for awhile now because, I want people to know how special and loved they are. I know God has choose me to do this and I cant wait to see it all fold out.
I do ask if you would please keep my squad and I in your prayers while we prepare for this life changing trip. As we get ready to leave the people we love to love on others and to show God undying love. As we leave our families to make enteral families.
