The country of Mongolia is breathtaking.
This month (Month 10, April) my team was placed in the capital city. Ulaan Bataar is home to about half of the population of Mongolia, while the rest of the population is scattered throughout the countryside. We loved on the local church, and partnered with them to invite people to learn more about the Lord.
Our hosts greeted us with this sign and a song at the airport
The view outside of our home
A church on Sunday, a classroom on Tuesday – Thursday, and our place of refuge
The city center. Mongolia is full of so much history!
We drove out to the countryside for a night, encouraged a woman who ran a house church in her village, prayed for families who wanted to know the Lord, sang songs with kids who attend the house church, and spent the night in a traditional Mongolian home (a ger). The majority of our ministry this month was simply meeting people and hanging out with them.

Since we lived in the city, our hosts wanted to take us to see what Mongolia is so famous for – the countryside!
We taught English twice a week – this is sweet Baila!
There were three teams together serving in Ulaan Bataar, Mongolia.
These are the people that I got to do life with that month!
We dressed up in some traditional Mongolian clothes at the Chinggis Khan museum.
What a month it was!
