I am not a World Racer…
I am broken
I’ve messed up
I’ve made mistakes.
I’ve been hurt
I’ve been used.
I’ve lied and cheated
I’ve hurt others.

I am redeemed
I am forgiven
I am loved
I am worthy
I am the daughter of the One True King
I am His princess
I am worthy to be loved
I am cherished
I am provided for and protected
I am wanted!
I am His!

I am not a World Racer…
I’m not a better Christian or a better person.
I’m not more “religious”, more “godly” or more “righteous” by being here,
by spreading the word and His love across the nations.
I don’t know more about the Bible.
I’m still learning who God is and what His love means.
I’m still a child in my faith,
learning more about the One who created me and loves me.
I’m still lost, looking for where and how I belong.
I still struggle with my identity and feeling wanted.
I’m still learning His voice and how He speaks to me.

I am not a World Racer…
I am a messenger.
I am a disciple.
I am an encourager.
I am joyful.

You do not have to be a World Racer…
You can make a difference.
You can change the world right where you are.
You can be a messenger, a disciple, an encourager…
in your work place, in school, in your home, with your family and friends.
You don’t have to travel to Africa or India, Brazil or Haiti to make an impact, to share God’s love.

Being an international missionary isn’t the only way to be a missionary.
Some are called to foreign missions.
Some are called to be missionaries in their hometowns.
For many, home is where you will make the biggest impact for Jesus.
You are daily invested in the lives of those around you.
They watch you and listen to you, looking, searching for what makes you so different.
They can see there is a difference in you, and they want that too.
Invest in the people around you.
They are in your lives for a reason.
That reason is Jesus!
Be His love and light for them.

You don’t have to be a World Racer…
You are still a child of God
You can bring the Good News to others where you are.
You can be you.
All of your imperfections, mistakes, struggles, hurts
God will use you and is using you in spite of those things.
He is using you because of your imperfections.
“You’ve been hurt? Me too. Lets do this together”.

You don’t have to be a World Racer to be used and to love.
You can be you and He will use you!

I am not a World Racer…
I am a child of God!
