I am on a journey, a eleven month journey. Yes, I knew it was a journey when I signed up. I expected to go to eleven countries in eleven months. I knew I would get to love on people, pray for the sick, and lead people to God. I knew I would live in tents, live out of a backpack, and eat weird stuff. What I didn't know was that it was also a journey of personal growth. A journey where God would take me through all my crap and change me to be who He created me to be. I was all for changing the world but I didn't expect to be changed.
It has only been four months, and it has went by so fast. As I look back I can't believe the things God has brought not only me but also my team through. God has really stretched us in so many ways. Every month it seems like He shows us something else we can change or do. We see Him show up everyday. As we walk forward into what he says we can see ourselves changing.
It's crazy just to know God planned this. He planned to do these things in our lives. He knew what we didn't know. He knew that this journey would change who we are. That He was going to call us to a new place in Him in these eleven months. When our plans are so small Gods are so much bigger. Everyday He amazes me and I just wanted to share with you all what He is doing not only through us but in us. We are so blessed to be able to serve.
Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
